Published in August, 2013, this update from Google has a ton of goodies in it, of which, the most important being that YouTube passed a major milestone in March, 2013, which more than 1 billion unique users on the site each month globally.
Other key stats:
- 50% talk to a friend after watching a video
- 70% of Gen c say that content gives them and their friends things to get together to talk about
- 170 YouTube Channels passed 1 million subscribers in the first half of 2013
- 317 Channels with more than 1 million subscribers
